A transplant from North Carolina, Kristin Jackson brings authentic Southern food to Hawaii. Featuring traditional Eastern North Carolina vinegar-based barbeque, as well as South Carolina’s mustard-based version, Kiss My Grits is soon to be one of your favorite dining spots. Kristin can’t wait to share her big as your head biscuits, with everything from authentic country ham, fried chicken tenderloins, or simply homemade jams and apple butter.
In the South, we like just about everything fried, so try the delicious fried seafood basket with hushpuppies or the oyster po boys…and of course buttermilk fried chicken! The grilled pimento cheese sandwiches are to die for and the shrimp and grits are like nothing you’ve ever tasted. All that and every plate comes with a deviled egg.
